FAA IN BID TO BUY BACK LAND FOR THE PUBLIC

By May 31, 2018August 12th, 2022No Comments

Flimkien ghal Ambjent Ahjar have applied to the Lands Authority so that as an eNGO we can actually pay/lease the land at the corner of Triq G.Henin with Triq il-Mediterran in Pembroke and retain it for public use as it is today.
It is extremely sad that we as a voluntary organization would have to pay for land which is public to remain so, but we are ready to do it from our very limited resources, so that at least a little patch of land will remain permanently in public use, for public enjoyment for free.
We are already in possession of a PA permit to grow a living hedge around the area and are now waiting for the decision from the Lands Authority.
FAA will continue the struggle to keep this land for the public, for free, forever.
